A success for our 1st Annual Junior Development Tournament!

The Paris Tennis Club held their first annual Junior Development Tournament on Sunday August 31.  16 kids took part in this exciting event which focused on introduction to tournament play, competition, sportsmanship and fun!

CONGRATULATIONS to all of the junior members who participated in the first junior development tournament.  It was a huge success and was a great introduction to tournament and game play for our junior members.  Many thanks to our volunteer scorekeepers, helpers and families for your continued help and support!

U9 Girls Division:

Junior Drop In starts tomorrow May 10!

 Sunday Junior Drop in program starts tomorrow!

This drop in program is informal and will allow children to meet with other

kids and learn the game of tennis through fun games, drills, and match play.

~ Kids 10 yrs & under will run from 10:00 - 1130 p.m.

~ Kids 11 yrs + will run from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m.

Paris Tennis Club Members = Free

Non-members = $2.00 drop in fee (& must sign waiver)

Equipment available!  Membership packages will also be available for

purchase!

Paris Tennis Club

Our rising stars are ready and eager to start the outdoor season!!!

 After a long cold winter of indoor tennis fun, our junior's are ready to get started with the outdoor season!!!  This winter the County of Brant offered a great indoor tennis program which provided some tennis enthusiasts time on the courts and also introduced many children to the sport of tennis for the very first time!   

Each child walked away with a certificate of completion and a mini report card of their progress, but most importantly a huge smile!!!

 

The Paris Tennis Club will be offering many different tennis programs for children this spring and summer!  

Sunday Junior Drop-In (ages 5+) 10 am - 1 pm 

(free for PTC members, non members - First visit free, then $2 drop in)

Junior Drop-In days are a fun way to get out and meet new friends.  These days are informal and consist of fun games, drills, and mini matches.  Children will be grouped by skill level and will use progressive tennis equipment.  No racquet?  No problem!  Equipment provided!

Ages 5-9 will run from 10:00 a.m - 11: a.m. (approx)

Ages 10+ will run from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. (approx)

Make sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen!

*Waiver must be signed by parent or guardian to participate*

All camps will run Monday-Thursday (Friday as rain date)

July 6-9, 13-16, 20-23 and 27-30th.

Le Petit Tennis in Paris (ages 3-5) 9-10 am

$40.00 for PTC members, $50.00 non-members (equipment provided)

Beginner Tennis (ages 6-9) 10:00 - 11:00 am

$40.00 for PTC members, $50.00 non-members (equipment provided)

Beginner Tennis (ages 10+) 11:00am - 12:30pm

$50.00 for PTC members, $60.00 non-members (equipment provided)

Advanced/Intermediate (10+) 11:00am - 12:30pm

$50.00 for PTC members, $60.00 non-members (equipment provided)

We will also be adding some junior tournaments and team tennis near the end of the summer, 

dates TBD!

*Memberships can be purchased on this day by cash or cheque only.  Please make cheques payable to Paris Tennis Club*  You will receive a key to the court and a shoe tag along with a member information package. 

If you are unable to make it out on May 2nd, you can purchase your memberships on any organized club night or at the Canadian Tire Paris store after May 2nd.
